Looking toward the future, unknown and untouched mountains carve the sky in jagged ways, slicing it into pieces. Threatening clouds roll so close to the mountain tops that they are punctured, sending rain spewing onto the coarse ground below. I bite my lip and look away, fearful of the commitment it will take to make the climb.
But Iβve learned I mustnβt focus on the mountains. I must focus on that first hill, step, pebble, or rain drop. If I get past that first speck of dust, then Iβm stronger than yesterday.
