Shades of Color

Blue for boys, pink for girls, and toys in separate aisles.  “I want this one, Mommy,” she says, “but they will make fun of me.”

“A toy is just a toy,” I tell her.  “Get that Stormtrooper.”

Sometimes we should be purple.
